Can it be used while charging?
Yes. The built-in 6400 mAh battery extends playtime by 2–4 hours, allowing you to keep playing while it charges your headset.
Is it easy to put on?
Yes. The ergonomic design, soft cushions, and balanced battery pack make it quick to put on and comfortable for long sessions.
Is the strap adjustable?
Yes. The enlarged bracket supports a wide range of head sizes (17.7–29.5 inches) and can be easily adjusted for the perfect fit.
Is it compatible with my VR headset?
This strap is designed specifically for the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. It is not compatible with other headsets or with the KIWI design RGB Vertical Charging Stand.
Great headstrap but dose come with some trade-offs which should minus a star over.
To start with the positives.
+The strap has an adjustable point which is very easy to lift & rest headset onto forehead while playing
+All around leather padding (except facial) which feel cushioniny soft
+Tightens well to head and can expand fov a bit by getting closer lens
+Can push into head to tighten instead of using nob (but need to use nob to loosen)
+Free lens cloth (not worth much but nice to get something that will be needed)
+Comes in very nice packaging, almost the same as the quest 3 itself
+Battery (including Quest battery) lasted roughly 4 - 5 hours in total
+Charges both headset & battery pack at same time
Now the cons
-Delivery took 11 days to ship in EU (Ireland)
-Battery cannot be charged with a fast charger like the quest 3 can on its own - had to use my quest 18w charger
(also actually looks like faster chargers may damage both the kiwi battery & quest3 as it keeps flicking on/off which it dose to the headset too)
-Battery (including quest battery) takes a whopping total of 5 hours to charge
-The Battery on the back is very condensed and sticks out a bit on the back, so due to this you do notice the weight as you move your head - its not bad and doesn't bother, but its weightier feel than other battery headstraps i have tried
Would really like to see in future iterations a better higher capacity battery in it that can be charged faster and/or interchangeable batteries.
All in all its a solid headstrap, it dose not feel flimsy and its comfortable all around. The only area is battery tech which needs improvements but it dose its job and runs out before the headset when both fully charged.
I'm am being 100% honest and serious when I say that this battery makes the quest 3 feel UNBELIEVABLY balanced, and in turn literally makes it feel like the headset disappeared for the first 2 hrs of gameplay, after that you can feel the added weight finally start kicking compared to the stock strap that just drags your head down from the get go. And the battery on this thing, UNBELIEVABLY I could barely get an hour out of my quest 3 before plugging in a batter pack and sticking it in my pocket or just straight up plugging it into the wall and getting tangled all to heck. It easily adds 4 hours of game time and more often than not I'm getting in like 7 hours before the strap and my headset fully die, unless your using mixed reality and experimental features, then your looking at like 3 to 4 hrs total. But this headset is definitely a no brainer. There really isn't a whole lot on the market that even begins to compete with the care and quality of kiwi design products.
Pretty satisfied with the product. The weight of the battery enhances the overall balance of the Meta Quest 3.
I was frightened about the dimension regarding the OEM transport case from Meta. The back head structure is just a little too tall but it doesn’t prevent from closing the case.
This head strap is very comfortable. The padding is very good and it distributes the weight very nicely. It gives an extra 3-4 hours of playtime and keeps the headset at 100% the whole time. If you don't have the RGB vertical charging stand and don't need the SPC port, this is the head strap to go with!

Overall, I cannot recommend the KiwiDesign enough. It truly is the best elite-style battery strap on the market, at least from what I have currently tested. The value, comfort, quality, and battery life all make this a no-brainer. I have rated the Kiwi battery head strap a perfect 5 out of 5, and it has become my primary head strap. If you want to enhance your VR experience and are on the fence about which battery head strap to get, then this is definitely one you should look into.

Quest 3 is my first VR headset. Stock strap started to take away the joy of using it so I needed a change. I wanted something that could fit original Meta case so an elite type strap was my type. It is very comfortable and gives me a nice long battery life.
I'm pretty happy with the extension. Has the added bonus of offsetting some of the weight on the headset too. Is not compatible with the carry case unfortunately.
I’m happy with the strap. It adds extra juice for meta quest 3 and extending time for fun. . The only grip is that it’s not very comfortable to use it when laying on the back due to the thickness on the back of the strap. But when seating or standing it’s doing its job correctly.
Very comfortable great battery power life
I saw many reviews that this was the one to get. But after full charge and next day trial, the quest 3 kept ping that low charging rate and the battery straight up died. And had to switch back to the straight plugged in method. The Factory quest 3 headset didn't last too long but at least it charged. Currently attempting to charge it once again but looking for a replacement to replace the Kiwi with on amazon. Most don't if it dies again back to amazon it will go, don't have the time to mess around with wishing it charges and retains charge, rather it just works. PS: started to recharge it again and within a few minutes goes to one light to lights doing the charging 1,2,3,4 lighting and now nothing. Tried to test it and went from 100% on only battery to 98% in a minute and when charger re-inserted. The pining started again.... it's going back. BAD BUY. Oh! to be honest it was comfortable. only way I gave it more than one start.
The strap itself is awesome and comfortable. but the battery has some issues.. For example trying to start the oculus while the battery strap is plugged in does not work. or if it does it glitches the oculus . when i first saw and bought it i honestly thought the battery strap will also serve as a bridge between the oculus and the pc. found out after that if i want to plug the oculus to my pc i need to disconnect the battery and plug it the normal way not through the battery. Oh and after a certain percentage it starts buzzing, no idea why.

The comfort it provides wearing the VR is worth the money alone! It also provides double the playing time on the VR Wich is also worth the money of the kiwi battery head strap. So definitely a must have, you'll believe me once you put it on for the first time!!!
